Description
Our vineyard is an enchanted place where Twisted magic is happening. One visit to the Z&M Twisted Vineyard and Tasting Room, and you know that you have entered a special spot. We grow 10 varieties of grapes and have an orchard of fruit trees. We also purchase produce (fruits and veggies) from local farmers to handcraft over 45 different wines and hard ciders. When it comes to our wines, Bryan’s military background as an Apache pilot, pairs nicely with Gina’s Italian heritage. Sicily, where her family hails from, has been making wine for nearly 3,000 years. Z&M takes traditional wine production methods and uses them to make something fun, accessible, and most importantly, delicious. From their Blackhawk Blackberry wine, to their Hellfire jalapeño wine, all the way to their Blacked Out Coffee Wines, Z&M specialty wines draw from the best of Old World wine-making to provide something new and exciting, while honoring the surrounding military, local, and farming communities. We create handcrafted, signature wines, and we use only the best produce and handle each batch with care from vine to wine.
The land we work grants us amazing gifts each day. In return, Z&M believes in treating our land with care and intention. You won’t see harsh chemicals at our Twisted Vineyard, which is equipped with grazing babydoll sheep that help keep our vineyard mowed, minimizing our ecological footprint. Because Z&M is committed to keeping our products chemical-free, we keep weeds out by using recycled newspaper and cardboard to line the vines beds and apply repurposed mulch over the top.
In August of 2019, we started Bella Vino, a sustainable self-care line of soaps, lip care, body scrubs, and wine jellies made with repurposed ingredients from our wine-making process. Nothing goes to waste!
We couldn’t keep this magic to ourselves, which is why we opened the vineyard to the public in 2020. Then in 2022, we opened Big Vino on property. Big Vino, is our wine production and tastings facility all in one, but it also plays host to celebrations, exciting events featuring music, festivals, private graduations or military retirements. The Tasting Room or Wine Hanger are perfect for agritourism entertainment, as well as casual get-togethers.
