Description
We are a small cow/calf operation located outside of Alma, Kansas in the Flint Hills. We have a commercial herd, calving a group in the spring and a group in the fall. We care for the cows and calves year round on native pasture. We keep a few feeder calves to feed-out as butcher beef. They are available in 1/4, 1/2 or whole animals. We work with a variety of local meat lockers, typically Alta Vista Meat Co (Alta Vista, KS) and Fairview Farms (north of Topeka, KS). We price the beef per pound of carcass weight based on the market.
