Message from egg farmer Jo Beach: I have 500 commercial brown hens on my farm. They wander outside at will during daylight hours, but are shut in their houses at night to protect them from predators. They are fed a non-GMO feed. Eggs are gathered three times a day, cleaned and packaged according to orders. I have home and business deliveries on Monday, Friday and Saturday. Garden veggies are offered during the season along with canned items such as jelly, jam, salsa and pasta sauce. I have a large garden that produces a wide variety of items for the market.
I deliver anywhere from 100 dozen to 200 dozen eggs to Meadowlark Acres in Southern Johnson County (5830 West 167th St, Stilwell, KS 66085) on a weekly basis, usually Saturday at 10 am until sold out, weather permitting. Local neighbors and Kansas City metro area customers make the lovely drive out for eggs, honey, baked goods and summertime seasonal veggies/fruits. This location is easy to get to and plenty of parking. In between Nall and Metcalf on West 167th Street.
