Description
A small ranch in Marion County providing Grass Fed Beef, Farm Fresh Eggs, and High Quality Meat Goats.
Our small herd of exceptionally gentle Galloway-cross cattle have been selected to finish well on a forage-based diet, and are calved, raised, and finished on farm on a diet of pasture grass, grass hay, and alfalfa, and are supplemented with small amounts of whole oats.
Our laying hens are fed on a hand-mixed ration and are kept in mobile chicken tractors.
Our goats are grazed with our cattle herd, in a complimentary relationship that helps to maintain pasture quality and diversity in our multi-species rotational grazing system.
