Description
The Smith Homestead was established in 2020 by Brendan and Whitney Smith. We raise and sell whole, pasture-raised Cornish cross chickens and farm fresh eggs. Our broilers are raised in chicken tractors that are moved to fresh grass daily, and they are supplemented with feed from our local coop. Our egg laying hens are free range and also supplemented with local feed as well as fruits, veggies, and table scraps. Currently our egg layers consist of Rhode Island Reds, Black Australorps, Silver-laced Wyandottes, and Plymouth Barred Rocks. All of which are medium-large, brown egg producers.
