We are a 4th generation farm/ranch and sell finished shares of our Black Angus Beef. Our cattle are raised and cared for each day in the most humane manner possible.
Our cattle are:
• Born and raised right on our ranch.
• Harvested for processing at approximately 20-22 months of age.
• Never given supplemental feed antibiotics or growth hormones.
• Grass/pasture fed their entire lives.
• Supplemented the last approximately 90 days with Purina feed to aid with meat marbling.

Please place your order by April 1, 2024. Processing will be June 27, 2024, at Richard’s Cold Storage in Valley Center, Kansas. We only finish out the cattle that are spoken for by the order due date so please place your order by April 1st.
Once the cattle are processed the packaged meat should be ready for pickup a few weeks later in July. Richard’s use clear plastic vacuum packaging which provides for meat visibility and long freezer life.
We sell in whole, ¾, ½, or ¼ beef quantities at $3.50/lb. hanging weight for the animal; the cost of the animal will be paid to us. Also based on hanging weight, you will pay Richard’s for the processing costs which will depend on your specific processing choices. Once the cattle are delivered, Kent will contact you with the hanging weight and animal cost. Richard’s will contact you to discuss your processing preferences and will call you again when your meat is ready to be picked up.

EXTRA GROUND BEEF: We will have at least one animal processed into just ground beef: 1-lb packages at $5.75/lb. ($5.75/package). That price includes both the cost of the animal and processing.
If you want to order some of this additional ground beef and are buying a ¼, ½, etc. of one of the other animals, we ask that you purchase a minimum of 25 lbs. (25 packages).
If you are interested in just ordering some of the additional ground beef and are not buying any of the other cut meat animals, we ask that a minimum of 50 lbs. be purchased (50 packages).
These additional ground beef order amounts will help the locker minimize opening their freezer during the hotter summer months, so thanks for your cooperation.
If you would like to order just ground beef or add additional ground beef to your regular cut beef order, just let us know by the order due date of April 1st.
